With more than 20 years in the investment industry, Aleem brings deep experience and knowledge to his role of wealth and financial quarterback to high net-worth families, executives, business owners, professionals and foundations.

Aleem started his investment career in the late 1990s and became a top-ranked, senior equity analyst and Partner with a leading Bay Street firm, receiving multiple awards for professional excellence. His global institutional clients ranked him highly among Canadian equity analysts for Quality of Investment Ideas and Quality of Analysis in the Brendan Wood International Analyst Rankings (2005-2009). Aleem was also named a Top Stock Picker in the National Post/Starmine Awards (2006-2009).

Aleem's experience as an equity analyst inspired his path to a Portfolio Manager, and he founded an investment management firm in 2009. He initially ran a hedge fund and was one of the top five-performing Alternative Funds in 2011 according to GlobeInvestor. In 2015, Aleem expanded the firm to provide broader wealth management services to meet the increasing needs of his clients. His experience running an investment management firm for 11 years and overseeing all aspects of the business including compliance and risk management, operations, finance, and portfolio management, uniquely positions Aleem to understand and assist his executive and business owner clients with the challenges and opportunities they face in growing their businesses and wealth.

Aleem graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management and Economics, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Aleem and his wife Fatima, also a busy professional and executive, live in Markham, Ontario and enjoy spending time with their three children. They love to travel together and explore the world, with periodic stops at one of their favourite places on earth, Disney World. They are also avid fans of the Toronto Raptors.

Aleem is dedicated to giving back to the community. He is proud to serve on the Advisory Board of the Flato Markham Theatre since 2014, and is the Past Chair that led to the creation of the Markham Foundation for the Performing Arts. He also is passionate about raising funds for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation and The World Partnership Walk.
